Bonjour! A couple of weeks I went to Paris with my family and some friends for a weekend. Some of us had plans to go to opera and some (that was me!) decided to hang out for an evening (in case you didn’t know, that I took only 1 pair of super uncomfortable shoes with me). So first that afternoon I and my friend went to Notre Damme cathedral, later- to Latin area, walked there for a while and then about 6pm (it was already dark) to louvre museum, that was so amazing, despite that in Paris (and Louvre) I was 2nd time. It’s so exciting to see these famous paintings and other historical objects real! When we went to Eiffel Tower, my IPad storage was already full and we were so hungry so bought french fries near ticket office. When we finally lifted up (9pm!) it was fantastic, the view was unbelievable but weather-so windy and one moment it’s started to snow! Paris at night is magical, IF you have comfortable shoes… Mine weren’t and was trying to not to fall in a street 😀 when we went down (10.?? Pm) decided to see Champs Élysées at night and then finally came back to hotel by metro.
Next morning, we visited Garnier opera and Shops Meka- Gallerie Laffayette, I just loved it there – Christmas decorations and cute dancing monsters (?) looked wonderful ! Next stop- Monmarte. There we had lovely French meal and a great view – thanks God, day was sunny and warm. We actually wanted to take a boat trip, but the line was soo big that we decided not to wait and go to Pompidou centre. Pretty amazing! Sadly, we don’t have any time for shopping, cause 7pm we had to leave hotel for a dinner.
We had a dinner in reastaurant in Champs-Élysées , Atelier Robuchon. We had some problems finding it, but never mind :D. By the way, this restaurant has few (?) Michelin stars, we were in big company, so sat not near the “bar” like many people, but in special room with tables. “Kids” like me and my friend had special meniu fruit cocteils, eggplants and other vegetables dish (I don’t know what was it) with dried tomatoes “bread”, chicken dish with peas pods and other things and finally dessert (something like sorbet and mango purée but wasn’t sure) Adults had dishes with black caviar, gold leaves, foie gras (duck liver), white truffles (not candies :D), and other stuff. I loved all the food, despite that I don’t like many special vegetables, but it was pretty amazing dinner and experience! I also loved that there’s a special souvenir shop above the restaurant called “Public drugstore”, visit it! After dinner, while going home, we saw Paris at night again… Ahhh, love it!
